Our mission is to use climbing and outdoor recreation to create opportunities for learning, growth, and connection while expanding access, caring for the places we recreate, and strengthening our community.
We envision a community where outdoor recreation creates lasting public good, where access to meaningful outdoor experiences is broadly shared, recreation strengthens people and communities, and the places that make those experiences possible are protected for generations to come.

FRAMEWORK
ECCC brings together people, partnerships, resources, and outdoor recreation to create lasting public benefit.
We begin with community needs and use outdoor recreation as a tool to address them. Partnerships with schools, nonprofits, businesses, government, volunteers, and funders allow each organization to contribute what it does best, while earned revenue from recreation helps build a more sustainable source of support.
Together, these resources become programs and projects that advance education, access, and stewardship. We measure what we accomplish, learn from the results, and use that evidence to strengthen the partnerships and community support that make the work possible.
It is a cycle designed to turn recreation into something larger than itself: Recreation for Good.
