Education

The Education branch of EC3 is a core part of our mission, providing diverse learning opportunities for both children and adults. From essential climbing skills and safety techniques to social-emotional learning and Leave No Trace principles, we equip individuals with the knowledge and tools to thrive both on and off the mountain. Through workshops, clinics, and hands-on experiences, we help climbers of all ages grow in both ability and character.

Reach New Heights

Our flagship program, Reach New Heights, is designed to help instill confidence, leadership, and community in middle schoolers. R.N.H. develops Social-Emotional competencies like Self-Awareness, Self-Management, Relationship Skills, and Responsible Decision-Making.

Boy/Cub Scouts

As a certified merit badge facilitator, our organization partners with the Boy and Cub Scouts of America, helping Scouts not only work towards and earn their Climbing Merit Badges but also fostering qualities like courage, resilience, and strong character.

Family Climbing Day

EC3's annual Family Climbing Day is one of our biggest community outreach events of the year. We leverage this opportunity to engage with both parents and children in areas like safety and conservation.

Clinics

Hands-on climbing education can often come with a high price tag, but at EC3, we’re committed to accessibility. That’s why we offer free clinics that focus on essential safety skills and gear use.
